Zimbabwe
The largest curtain of Victoria Falls and the safaris of Hwange
Zimbabwe holds the largest portion of Victoria Falls, the most spectacular view of the world's "largest curtain of falling water," along with Hwange's huge elephant herds, sunset cruises on the Zambezi and the bungee jump off the legendary bridge. For a Cameroonian traveler, an e-visa with prior approval and a yellow fever certificate are required.
The visa, step by step
How to apply
Go to the official portal evisa.gov.zw, click "Start the process," choose the visa type and nationality (Cameroon), fill in your details, upload the documents, pay online by card and receive the e-visa / approval letter by email. Print it and present it on arrival.
Required documents
- Passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages
- Scan of the passport bio-data page
- Passport photo
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking)
- Round-trip or onward flight ticket
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory)
Good to know
- •Cameroon is in Category C: the visa must be paid for and obtained BEFORE travel, no visa on arrival.
- •WARNING: the KAZA UniVisa (Zambia + Zimbabwe) is NOT open to Cameroonian nationals. For visiting the Zimbabwean side only, the USD 30 single-entry visa is enough; to also see the Zambian side, plan a separate Zambian visa.
- •The yellow fever certificate is mandatory for travelers coming from Cameroon.
- •No refunds for refused or unused visas; an e-visa cannot be amended (you must reapply).
