Vanuatu is a laid-back, warm-hearted South Pacific archipelago, and one of the few Oceania destinations accessible VISA-FREE for a Cameroonian passport (a 30-day stay). On the menu: Mount Yasur, one of the most accessible volcanoes in the world where you watch lava explosions up close; legendary dive wrecks; crystal-clear blue holes and jungle waterfalls. The main challenge is getting there: very far from Cameroon, the archipelago is reached via Australia or New Zealand.
The visa, step by step
How to apply
No prior steps: Cameroonians are among the visa-exempt nationalities. The 30-day tourist permit is issued free on arrival on presentation of the passport and an onward ticket. To extend (up to 120 days), a paid application is made on site with Immigration.
