Sweden
Scandinavian design, archipelagos and auroras
Sweden combines sleek cities, vast nature and an enviable quality of life. Stockholm spreads across fourteen islands between water and forest; up north, Lapland offers northern lights and endless nights. Design, coffee ('fika'), sustainability and safety are part of the Swedish way of life. For a Cameroonian traveller it is a safe, well-organised Schengen destination, on the pricey side but restfully beautiful, ideal for lovers of nature and Nordic aesthetics.
