Suriname
Dutch colonial timber, rivers and virgin forest: the smallest country in South America.
Formerly Dutch Guiana, Suriname blends UNESCO-listed wooden architecture, a mosque and synagogue side by side, Indo-Creole cuisine and vast nature: the Central Suriname Nature Reserve covers 12% of the country. Good news for a Cameroonian passport: a genuine e-Visa (e-Tourist Card) is applied for online via VFS Global. The flight from Douala often routes through Amsterdam, the historic hub to Paramaribo.
The visa, step by step
