Complete the online application at the official portal evisa.sl with your passport and travel details, then pay. An Application ID is issued; travel with the same passport.

Round-trip flight from Douala / Yaoundé
462 000 FCFA–780 000 FCFANo direct flights from Cameroon. Options: via Lomé/Accra with ASKY (most practical), via Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc, or via Abidjan with Air Côte d'Ivoire. On arrival, Lungi airport is separated from Freetown by the estuary: the Sea Coach water taxi (~40 USD, ~45 min) is recommended.

Freetown peninsula beaches — River No. 2 and Tokeh
Postcard white-sand beaches backed by green hills where the river meets the Atlantic: community-run River No. 2 (swimming, kayaking, fresh fish) and Tokeh, the upscale resort beach.
The Banana Islands
A cluster of small islands ~20 min by boat from Kent, ideal for snorkeling, diving and kayaking, with a 19th-century church and old cannons.

Tiwai Island sanctuary
A biodiversity hotspot on the Moa River (UNESCO-listed in 2025), famous for its primates (Diana monkeys, red colobus) and rare pygmy hippos, explored on foot or by canoe.
