São Tomé & Príncipe
The forgotten chocolate islands of the Gulf of Guinea
Two volcanic islands lost in the Atlantic, just a short hop from Gabon. São Tomé and Príncipe is nature at its rawest: deserted beaches, primary rainforest, vertiginous volcanic spires and time-warp cocoa plantations. One of the safest and most peaceful countries in Africa, still untouched by mass tourism. For a Cameroonian traveler, it is a total Lusophone change of scene only two short flights from home.
