Pakistan
The roof of the world, between Himalayan valleys and ancient bazaars
Pakistan remains one of Asia's best-kept secrets. In the north, the Hunza and Skardu valleys, the Fairy Meadows and the Karakoram giants offer some of the planet's most spectacular scenery. In the south, Lahore pulses with Mughal mosques, legendary street food and disarming hospitality. The country demands caution and careful planning, but rewards the curious traveler with an authenticity that has become rare.

- •Special permits (NOC) may be required for some remote mountain areas.
- •Payment is by Visa or Mastercard only.
