Mozambique
Dream beaches, whale sharks and Portuguese flavours.
Mozambique stretches over 2,500 km of Indian Ocean coastline: white sand, turquoise water and some of the planet's best diving. At Tofo you swim with whale sharks and manta rays, in the Bazaruto Archipelago you sail by dhow between islands, and in Maputo you savour Luso-African cuisine — peri-peri prawns, seafood and fresh pão. A sunny beach destination, still affordable for travellers.
