Madagascar
Island-continent: baobabs, lemurs and beaches, visa on arrival.
Madagascar, the great island of the Indian Ocean, is a one-of-a-kind nature sanctuary: giant baobabs, lemurs, limestone tsingy and the beaches of Nosy Be. For an ordinary Cameroonian passport, access is simple: a visa is issued on arrival in Antananarivo. Expect one layover (Addis Ababa, Nairobi or Istanbul) and a 2-hour time difference. Still an affordable destination, ideal for wildlife lovers.
