Lithuania
Baltic baroque and endless forests
A long-overlooked Baltic country, Lithuania surprises with one of Europe's largest baroque old towns, pine forests, lakes and a quiet, affordable character. For a Cameroonian traveler, it's a European gateway less crowded than Paris or Brussels, with fewer tourists and reasonable prices. Vilnius blends golden spires, cobbled lanes and a lively café-creative scene, while Trakai Castle on its lake and the Baltic coast offer real getaways. It's intimate, green, culturally rich Northern Europe, perfect for a short eye-opening trip.
