Latvia
Art nouveau by the Baltic
The largest Baltic capital, Riga dazzles with one of Europe's richest concentrations of Art Nouveau architecture, a UNESCO-listed medieval center and the wide Daugava river. Latvia is also deep forests, white-sand beaches along the Baltic and ever-present nature. For a Cameroonian traveler, it's a fresh, affordable, uncrowded European discovery, where you move effortlessly from design cafés to covered markets and seaside escapes in Jūrmala. A short trip is enough to taste this quiet Nordic elegance blending history, design and wide green spaces.
