Israel
Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Dead Sea, at the crossroads of three religions.
Israel packs in a rare density of history: the old city of Jerusalem and its holy sites, trendy Tel Aviv and its beaches, the Dead Sea where you float, Masada and the Negev desert. Key point for Cameroonians: no ETA-IL or e-visa for you — you need a consular visa obtained at the Israeli embassy in Yaoundé before departure. Also important: the regional situation remains unstable; check official advisories and avoid border areas (the Gaza envelope, the northern border with Lebanon).
