Iceland
Land of fire, ice and northern lights
Iceland is a planet of its own: steaming volcanoes, glaciers, geysers, waterfalls and open-air hot springs. For a Cameroonian the thermal and visual shock is total, but the experience is unforgettable. Reykjavik, a small colourful capital, is the base for exploring the Golden Circle and the south coast. It is a pricey country to budget for, but the nature is rare in its intensity. Depending on the season you chase the northern lights in winter or the midnight sun in summer.
