Georgia
At the crossroads of Europe and Asia, mountains and millennia-old wine
Georgia is an increasingly shared secret: nestled between the Black Sea and the peaks of the Caucasus, it offers total escape at a gentle price. The cradle of wine (8,000 years of winemaking), it charms with clifftop monasteries, medieval towns, generous cuisine and legendary hospitality. Tbilisi, the capital, mixes cobbled lanes, sulfur baths, Soviet architecture and trendy cafés. For a Cameroonian, it is administratively accessible thanks to the e-visa, affordable day to day and radically different from anything familiar. Ideal for combining spectacular nature, Orthodox culture and great food without breaking the bank.
