Eswatini, Africa's last absolute monarchy, is a miniature kingdom tucked between South Africa and Mozambique. In a pocket-sized territory it packs peaceful game reserves, lush valleys, renowned crafts and spectacular royal festivals such as the Umhlanga reed dance. For a Cameroonian traveller it is a gentle, safe African getaway, often combined with South Africa. Distances are short, the Swazi welcome warm and the wildlife surprisingly rich for so small a country.

How to apply
The Eswatini visa must be obtained before departure from an Eswatini embassy, consulate or visa centre: there is no e-visa for Cameroonians. Prepare a passport valid for at least 30 days beyond your intended stay with at least one blank page, an application form, ID photos, proof of accommodation, a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds. Allow several weeks of processing time and contact the nearest Eswatini diplomatic mission for the exact document checklist.
