Estonia
Medieval and hyper-connected at once
Estonia is the fascinating little Baltic country where a perfectly preserved medieval old town sits beside one of the world's most digital societies. In Tallinn you go from 14th-century ramparts and Gothic spires to trendy cafés and start-ups in a few steps. For a Cameroonian traveller it's a surprising discovery: nature of forests and lakes, intact Hanseatic heritage, and an e-government where everything is done online. Compact and affordable for Northern Europe, the country is easy to visit in a few days, between history, design and Baltic calm.
