Denmark
Design, bikes and Scandinavian happiness
Denmark is the small Scandinavian kingdom where everything seems designed for good living: bike lanes everywhere, colourful houses along the canals, and that famous "hygge" you breathe in every café. For a Cameroonian traveller, the contrast with the heat of Douala is total: here you discover an ultra-organised society, prices that sting a little, but a quality of life that leaves a mark. Copenhagen is best explored by bike or on foot, between royal castles, revamped harbours and world-class Nordic restaurants. A short stay of a few days is enough to taste this cosy, elegant atmosphere.
