Chile
The Andes within a metro ride
Chile unrolls a 4,300 km ribbon between the world's driest desert and the glaciers of Patagonia. For a Cameroonian it's a big leap: nearly 24 hours of flying and a demanding visa granted sparingly. But at journey's end, modern Santiago, endless vineyards and spectacular nature reward the effort.
