Belize
Coral reef, Maya jungle and Caribbean rhythm
Belize is a small Central American gem where English and Creole are spoken, lapped by the Caribbean Sea. It is the land of the world's second-largest coral reef, the famous Great Blue Hole, Maya cities lost in the jungle and an Afro-Caribbean culture (the Garifuna) that resonates with the Cameroonian soul. Small, safe and laid-back, Belize is perfect for combining diving, forest adventure and lazing on palm-fringed beaches. Nature reigns and the welcome is genuine.
