Bahamas
700 islands, turquoise water and the famous swimming pigs of the Exumas.
The Bahamas is the Caribbean postcard come to life: an archipelago of 700 islands with pink and white sand beaches, translucent water, and the lively capital of Nassau with its colonial forts and straw market. The signature excursion is swimming with the famous Exuma pigs. For a Cameroonian passport, a visa is required but is obtained online via the official e-Visa; the trip from Douala is long, but the change of scenery is total.
The visa, step by step

Good to know
- •To be clear: this is NOT a visa-free destination for Cameroon — a visa is mandatory, but the e-Visa process avoids an embassy visit.
- •The official portal is evisa.mofa.gov.bs — avoid paid third-party sites.
- •Single-entry (3 months) or multiple-entry (3, 6 or 12 months).
