Azerbaijan
Where futuristic architecture meets the medieval old town on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan, the 'Land of Fire', blends ultramodern skyscrapers, medieval alleys and volcanic mud deserts. For a Cameroonian traveler, Baku offers a complete change of scenery between East and West, with flavorful food and warm hospitality.

The visa, step by step
How to apply
Azerbaijan offers an e-visa (ASAN Visa) to many nationalities, but Cameroonians are not always on the eligible list; in that case a standard consular application at a competent Azerbaijani embassy is required, sometimes with an invitation letter.
Required documents
- Passport valid 6 months
- Application form (online or consular)
- Digital ID photo
- Hotel booking and flight tickets
- Invitation letter if required by the consulate
Good to know
- •First check your eligibility for the ASAN e-visa; if Cameroon is not listed, go through the consulate.
- •An invitation letter may be required for the consular route.
