CameroonSenegal

Senegal is an excellent destination — it lives up to its name as the land of téranga (hospitality). There's so much to do in Dakar: I even did my first scuba dive, it was magnificent. It's beautiful, just a bit pricier than Cameroon.

📌 Learn a few words of Wolof (“Nanga def?” = how are you?, “Jërëjëf” = thank you): it always goes down well and opens doors.

CameroonBenin

Benin is beautiful and full of culture, with so much to visit: Ganvié, the Temple of Pythons, Grand-Popo, Cotonou… It's magnificent. Only downside: I wasn't really into their cuisine.

📌 For accommodation, I recommend the Fidjrossè neighbourhood in Cotonou.

I enjoyed my stay in France, especially the time spent in Strasbourg! The architecture, the culture and the city's overall atmosphere make it a compelling destination. That said, it's undeniably a pricey one. It's perfect for a short trip or a stay focused on sightseeing.

📌 Strasbourg Cathedral for the architecture, and the Oh My Goodness café if you love good coffee ;)
